Background and Objective
A fundamental element of our ongoing public affairs and positioning strategy is the development of a data set which enables us to ‘test the pulse’ of the pathway to electrification through the use of a variety of market and industrial confidence metrics.
The development of a quarterly ‘market pulse’ report will serve a number of objectives:
Create a consistently measured data report which will enable BEAMA to focus on the weak spots for electrification and track overall progress (refer to the attached messaging template which pulls out the high level numbers we have used in previous publications)
Provide a set of metrics which BEAMA can use to engage with Ministers and officials on a ‘trusted stakeholder’ basis
Set a consistent pattern of reporting which can be used for BEAMA profile raising through the development of thought leadership papers and social media posts
